Mind you 'tail dipping' when in the car is another ball game altogether. I use this in the kitchen and in the car and can recommend it for doing as it's designed for. It is not a large bowl and would need checking regularly but the lack of mess makes it ideal. Only small criticism is emptying it... suggest this might make as much mess as the dog drinking but would recommend paper towels to soak up remaining water caught by the lip. This bowl does not compensate for leaving a dog...

The bowl is fine, does what it says on the tin, my only issue is with the sticker inside the bowl which was a monster to remove, even using Lakelands sticky stuff remover which usually produces fantastic results.. I ended up using harsher chemicals and a metal scourer so it is now scratched.. non of this ideal for a new puppy.. It will be fine now, but I do not understand why companies cannot use the labels that peel off more easily.
