saluki dog, she really likes it. It is very easy to

in the machine. I have it on a leather sofa and have found

The small version of this product fits really nicely within the chair and the flap comes down over the front so there is almost no way that the cat's feet can touch the chair. They seem to sleep in it just as happily as they did in the chair directly before. I was a bit worried that the armchair side cover wouldn't come off nicely but it's fine (we don't need it for the Ikea chair). In fact to be honest I wonder if they should sell those as an extra optional attachment as we have no use for ours. It seems like a bit of a waste to discard them when they are brand new. I think there are plenty of additional product options this company could come up with. We also have a matching Ikea footstall. I'd buy a cover for that too if they did one.

I got a new dog, a rescue dog, which persisted in jumping up on my leather suite. A sofa bed such as this seemed to solve 2 problems in one - it gave my dog somewhere soft to lie and it also protected the sofas. My dog loved it and she very quickly learned to lie on it rather than the sofas. She actually preferred it to her normal dog bed on the floor. I thought it might slip off the leather but it didn't. The non-slip backing meant it stayed in place quite securely. It has a faux fur lining which is obviously soft and warm for the dog to lie on. It can be washed if you take out the removable side panels. My only minor grumble is that the side panel (the one in the middle of the sofa) keeps falling down as the velcro fastening is not secure enough. This was not a major problem as it simply gave the dog even more room to stretch out. Overall I am very happy with this, as is my dog, and I would buy it again.
